We all have certain belongings that we're overprotective of, such as cherished items that are fragile.
Our dogs are the same way! For them, it's probably a favorite toy. I always think that my dog's toys are like his children. He doesn't like it when anyone else touches certain ones and he gives them tough love with a shake and squeak. Just as with our belongings, they give our dogs a feeling of comfort.
For this pug, a ball is her most cherished possession. The only being she trusts it with is herself. She puts it in a safe place to be sure it's out of harm's way. I can't blame her!
